England: Latest Transfer Rumors

Arsenal setting up big signings this summer

Emirates can see big names coming it's way this summer as Arsene wenger is set to spend big money. Arsenal is keen to sign CSKA Moscow's 26 million Pound striker Doumbia. The Ivory Coast striker scored 38 goals last season.

Arsenal is also chasing Montpellier's star striker Olivier Giroud and are ready to spend 15 million Pound for world-class striker who fired Montpellier to their first French title with 21 goals. Giroud has announced that he will take any decision on his future after Euro 2012.

Leverkusen rule out Berbatov move

Manchester United's striker Berbatov's future remains unclear as his former club Bayer Leverkusen pulled out from the race of signing him. United wants to let the 31-year-old leave this summer but, even though they are submissive to making a huge loss on the 30 million Pound they paid Tottenham for his services in 2008, they are demanding some return on their investment.

And it is that demand for a fee that has led to Leverkusen pulling out of the race for Berbatov, who played for the club from 2001 to 2006.

Leverkusen's chief executive Wolfgang Halzhauer said "We are looking to find a striker, one that works well alongside Stefan Kiessling. However, the return of Berbatov is not an option for us."

"We are still on good terms with him but he would only be an option if he was available on a free transfer."

Bologna ace Ramirez chased by Mancini

Manchester City's coach Roberto Mancini is chasing 15 million Pound Bologna striker Gaston Ramirez along with Juventus and Wolfsburg.

The 21 year-old Uruguayan striker has played 58 games for Bologna and has netted 12 goals. He scored eight goals in 33 league appearances for Bologna this season and is under contract with the Serie A outfit until June 2016.

Ramirez's agent Pablo Betancourt said: "It's very probable that this will have been his last season at Bologna."

"We already have a few offers, but we will speak with Bologna officials at some point after today. I can confirm that Juventus and Manchester City have contacted me to show an interest."

Mancini said "Ramirez is a good young player, with great potential."
