Diego Forlan leaves Inter Milan for the Brazilian team Internacional. The Uruguayan star had a disappointing year with Inter, for he only managed to score twice for the Italian club team last Serie A season.
Internacional of Porto Alegre, from the Brazilian league, announced today that it will contract the Uruguayan striker. The 33 year old signed a contract until July of 2015, and he will be presented to the Internacional fans on Saturday.
Diego Forlan, who was named as the best player of the World Cup 2010, had a terrible season with Inter Milan in Italy. Before that, he played with Atletico de Madrid, from Spain, where he was a major factor.
Forlan had also played in Argentina with Independiente, in England with Manchester United, and in Spain for Villarreal. With these teams, Forlan managed good campaigns and impressed soccer analyst and coaches around the World.
