Pandev moves permanently to Napoli

Macedonian forward Goran Pandev has signed a three year deal to move permanently to Napoli from Inter Milan.

Pandev initially joined Napoli on a one-year loan deal from Inter Milan, but the 28-year-old striker has now signed a three-year contract in a deal reportedly worth 6.4million Pound.

Pandev helped the club to a Coppa Italia title while being on loan to the team for the campaign.

The deal was confirmed by Napoli in their official site which read, "Goran Pandev will be tied to the Azzurri club until June 2015 with an optional further year."

Pandev later confirmed the same saying, "I am in seventh heaven. I wanted to stay at Napoli at all costs after a year in which I felt right at home."

Further he added, "I have great confidence in this project and I am convinced that the victory in the Coppa Italia final is just the beginning of a great time for this club. I hope I can end my career at Napoli."

Napoli scored 6 goals in his 30 appearances during his loan period, which resulted in his permanent stay in Napoli.

"Pandev is our first important reinforcement in attack this summer,"said Aurelio De Laurentiis, who is the president of the club. He further added, "We are very happy and so is the player. Pandev is a wonderful person and a great player"
